Charles Yap explains how Best Environmental Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd can optimise yield and productivity for organic vegetable farming in our Agriculture Education Class on 15 Oct 2022.

Wilson Ang is a microbiologist by education, food technologist by profession, and ecological strategist by vision. He believes that sustainable change can only happen when commercial manufacturing processes and operations are optimised with planetary health in mind, and has an extensive experience in working with multiple stakeholders, NGOs, corporations, and SMEs in restructuring their business operations to increase profit and revenue avenues without compromising the health of the environment. Wilson has a deep understanding on both biological structures and business, and prides himself in his ability to bridge the gap between the pain points of people and planet.

Millennial farmer uses regenerative agriculture techniques to farm red corn, and shares his knowledge and methods to our participants of the Field of Hope: Agriculture Education Class on 16th October 2022.

40 participants are introduced to our corn farm in the morning to get a better understanding before embarking on theoretical discussions in our multipurpose hall. We have allocated several grow beds to test different growing methods, yielding significantly different results to help us determine the optimal SOP.

Samantha Mok shares with a class of 40 participants a basic understanding of soil dynamics that plays a major role in Regenerative Agriculture, biodynamics, organic farming, no-chemical farming, etc. The class aims to enable home owners and home gardeners with basic science knowledge about the soil, so that they can compost their own waste at home and close the loop ecologically in small ways that add up.
